The West Haven City Council is considering a curfew for unsupervised youth amid a rise in juvenile crime, according to a report.

WEST HAVEN, CT — Police are increasing their presence at West Haven beaches as the City Council considers imposing a curfew for unsupervised youth amid a rise in juvenile crime, according to WTNH News 8.

WTNH reported the proposed curfew would be from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Officials told WTNH that a curfew would be difficult to enforce based on staffing issues, but city leaders are expected to revisit the discussion in the coming weeks.
