14th Annual Georgetown Day Offers Music, Art, Poetry, Food and Fun!

The 14th Annual Georgetown Day is slated for Sunday, June 13 in Georgetown Center.

Redding, CT. — For the 14th year in a row, organizers are planning a fun-filled, arts and music festival. The 14th Annual Georgetown Day will be held on Sunday, June 13 from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Main Street in Georgetown.

Poets, DJs, bands and solo acts will perform on two stages this year and a plethora of vendors are ready to share about their businesses. There will be face painting, arts and crafts and a chili cook-off.

New to the festival this year is a community art project headed up by Susan Jackson, owner of Georgetown School of the Arts.  Attendees of the festival are invited to weave cotton fabric and colorful plastic table cloth rolls in a fence downtown to create a large mural.
