2 Joel Barlow Students Selected to Play in National All-National Honor Ensemble
Two Barlow students auditioned and were accepted into the National Association for Music Education's All-National Honor Ensemble.

Six hundred and seventy-three of the most elite high school musicians were accepted to their district or All-State music ensembles, including two from Redding’s Joel Barlow High School, according to a release.
The Joel Barlow students selected are as follows:
- Katherine Waugh, Soprano 1, Mixed Choir
- Anastasia Koorn, Soprano 2, Mixed Choir
The students are coached under the direction of Miss Juliane Givoni.

The four-day national conference takes place October 25-28 and focuses on how music teachers empower creativity in the classroom, and the lives of their students.
On October 28, during the 2015 NAfME National In-Service Conference, the student musicians will showcase their talents and perform on the world-famous Grand Ole Opry House stage.

The All-National Honor Ensembles is made up of a concert band, symphony orchestra, mixed choir and jazz ensemble. Students were chosen by audition.
