3 Accidents Top Redding Police Blotter For Aug. 8-14

REDDING, CT — Three accidents were at the top of the Redding Police Department's blotter this past week.
A Hopewell Woods Road resident complained to police on Aug. 8 that his tree contractor backed into and damaged a large stone pillar off its base. The estimated damage was approximately $3,000, according to the police report.
There was a 2-vehicle accident on Route 58 near the intersection of Giles Hill Road on Aug. 8, and another on Route 53 on Aug. 14. No injuries were reported after either incident, but no other information has been made available.
