3D Printer: now at the Weston Public Library
Weston Public Library's 3D printer is now available to the public, for free! Come learn how to use it, or see it in action!
A 3D printer lets someone create a solid object based on a 3D image in a computer file. The type of printer we have lays down many thin layers of plastic to build up the object.
3D printers can be used to make custom figurines, product prototypes, replacement parts for electronics, and other unique creations.
We currently do not have the ability to make new designs, but there are many designs available for free on sites like Thingiverse. Design files can be downloaded at the library or brought in on a flash drive.
