Alden Sherman Classic Car Show and Tour in Gear for September 24 and 25

Stellar automobiles and motorcycles showcased on Sunday, Sept. 25, Weston High School at Alden Sherman Classic Car Show.

Bugattis, Ferraris, Jaguars, Chevys and Fords as well as Harley-Davidsons and Indians will star at the fifth annual Alden Sherman Classic Car Show scheduled for Sunday, September 25, 10am – 3pm, at Weston High School on School Road, Weston, Conn. The rain date is Sunday, October 2. Proceeds from the show benefit the Weston Senior Activities Center. www.aldenshermanclassic.com.

Local and regional car and motorcycle collectors will showcase their outstanding classic domestic and foreign vehicles. Additional highlights are food vendors, a silent auction and informative seminars:

11am -12 noon: Hagerty Collector Car Valuation Seminar will explore the Hagerty Valuation tool and how they determine current and future values and marketplace trends.

1-2pm: Survive the Drive®’s Bob Green will present strategies for automobile accident prevention especially geared to teenage drivers. For additional information, visit www.survivethedrive.org or call 860-435-1054.

Saturday, September 24 features the Nutmeg Tour for Autism, 12 noon – 5pm, highlighting visits to vintage car collections, the Weston Historical Society Oktoberfest and a gourmet lunch. To register, visit www.vintagerallies.com.
