American Chamber Orchestra Winter Concert ~ Feb. 27 at 8:00 pm

The American Chamber Orchestra presents its Winter Concert on Feb. 27th at 8:00pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Fairfield.

The American Chamber Orchestra presents its winter concert on Saturday, February 27 at the First Presbyterian Church in Fairfield at 8:00 PM. Music Director Christopher Hisey conducts a program of Beethoven’s “Overture to Fidelio,” Winter and Summer from “The Four Seasons” by Vivaldi with soloist Nina Crothers, and Tchaikovsky’s “Symphony #5.” The First Presbyterian Church of Fairfield, is one half mile south of the Merritt Parkway Exit 46 on Easton Turnpike. Violin Soloist Dr. Nina Crothers, a resident of Fairfield, is on the faculty of the Suzuki Music School in Westport and has a private studio in Fairfield. She has been concertmaster of the Wallingford Symphony since 1988 and serves as assistant concertmaster with the Greater Bridgeport Symphony and the Waterbury Symphony and is principal second violin of the Norwalk Symphony. Dr. Crothers graduated magna cum laude from Yale University, received her MM from Julliard and her DMA from the Manhattan School of Music.
