WESTON, CT — Weston’s annual Memorial Day parade and fair are returning this weekend with carnival rides, games and community events planned through Monday.
The Weston Memorial Day Fair will run Friday, May 22 through Monday, May 25 at the Hurlbutt Elementary School grounds.
The fair will feature rides, games, food and other traditional carnival attractions. Sensory-friendly hours are also planned Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Meanwhile, Weston’s annual Memorial Day parade is scheduled for Monday beginning at 10:45 a.m.
According to organizers, the parade will begin near Weston High School before traveling along School Road, Weston Road and Norfield Road before ending at the Town Hall campus.
A memorial ceremony on the Town Green and free hot dogs at the firehouse will follow the parade.
The annual parade is organized by the Weston Volunteer Fire Department and honors military members who died in service to the country.
