WESTON, CT — Weston residents will kick off the Independence Day holiday with the town's annual "3rd of July" celebration on July 3.
Hosted by Weston Parks & Recreation, the family-friendly event will take place at Weston Middle School Field and feature live music, food trucks and a fireworks display at dusk. Gates open at 4:30 p.m.
The evening's entertainment lineup includes performances by the Westport Community Band, Owen Daniel and Fake ID.
Food trucks scheduled to attend include Tony Pizza Napalatano, Los Poblanos, Lucky Dog, The Roaming Rooster and Skips Ice Cream.
Admission is $5 for walk-ins, $20 per vehicle, $30 for limited premier parking and $100 for tailgate tents, cash or check only.
