WESTON, CT — Motorists should expect traffic delays on Weston Road throughout the week as milling and paving operations take place in multiple locations, according to the Weston Police Department.
Police said paving work is currently underway on Weston Road between West Branch Road and Goodhill Road.
Officials warned that significant delays are expected and encouraged drivers to seek alternate routes whenever possible.
Motorists are also being urged to allow extra travel time, use caution when traveling through work zones and follow all posted signs and directions from construction personnel.
The advisory is expected to remain in effect as roadway improvement work continues this week.
