WESTON, CT — One person was injured Tuesday morning after a vehicle crashed into a utility pole and left the roadway in Weston, according to the Weston Volunteer Fire Department.
Police, firefighters and EMS were dispatched around 8:04 a.m. to Newtown Turnpike near Lakeside Drive for a reported motor vehicle crash with injuries.
Responding crews found a single vehicle that had struck a telephone pole before leaving the roadway, fire officials said.
The vehicle's lone occupant was evaluated by Weston EMS for non-life-threatening injuries, according to the department.
Engine 3, Engine 4, Rescue 5, Medic 500 and Medic 551 responded to the scene. All units cleared the incident by about 9:30 a.m.
