• St. Francis of Assisi to host carnival Oct. 3-4 (bridgeportdiocese.org) — Weston's St. Francis of Assisi Parish is gearing up for its 16th annual Family Fun Carnival on Oct. 3–4 at 35 Norfield Road, complete with rides, games, food trucks, and live music. Families and pet owners from Weston and beyond are also invited to a Blessing of the Animals beforehand, marking the 800th anniversary of St. Francis's death.
