WESTON, CT — Two people were hospitalized after a vehicle rolled over late Friday night on Newtown Turnpike in Weston, according to fire officials.
Weston police, firefighters and EMS were called to Newtown Turnpike near Valley Forge Road around 11:11 p.m. Sept. 11 for a reported motor vehicle crash.
Arriving firefighters found a single vehicle overturned on its roof, according to the Weston Volunteer Fire Department.
Both occupants were able to get themselves out of the vehicle before being transported by Weston EMS to an area hospital with non-life-threatening
Newtown Turnpike was temporarily closed while emergency crews worked at the scene. All responding fire units were back in service by 12:20 a.m., officials said.
