Bakery Training Program for Young Adults with Disabilities
Now Accepting Applications
Circle of Friends serving Fairfield County, welcomes new applicants to enroll at the Crumb Together Bakery, which trains adults with disabilities to be certified for employment in the bakery industry. At the Crumb Together Bakery, trainees have the unique opportunity to learn skills, build self-esteem, socialize, and be productive members of the community, while, at the same time, producing scrumptious baked goods under the guidance of credentialed chefs.

According to the latest data available, 75% of adults with disabilities are unemployed, the Crumb Together Bakery was established to give young adults with disabilities opportunities for meaningful employment. Freida Hecht is the founder and director of this unique training program for adults with special needs.
