
On Saturday the junior varsity softball girls increased its winning record to 9 wins, 1 loss by beating Notre Dame of Fairfield 12 to 2.
Barlow's offense was right on this game with often and timely hitting from Kerianne Gibney going three for four and Emma Ruggiero, Isabelle Benedetto and Haley Stirling going two for three each. Stirling included a three-RBI triple to left center in the fifth inning.
Stirling was also busy defensively with five unassisted putouts at first base and also shared catchers duties with Gia Tuccinardi.

Allie Grimes and Devon DeLallo shared the pitching duties with Grimes gaining the win. Between both pitchers Notre Dame was only allowed two hits and five walks while only scoring two runs.
In the 10 games that the Joel Barlow JV softball team co-captain and starting pitcher Devon DeLallo has pitched in, she's chalked up a total of 106 strikeouts.
