Emma Traggianese, Katherine Acocella and Olivia Ventricelli each collect two hits in 4-2 victory over the Warriors

The Joel Barlow varsity softball team continued its winning ways by ending the first week of the season with a 4-2 victory over the visiting Wilton Warriors in a well-played game on Saturday afternoon.
The win completed a sweep of the week as the Falcons (3-0) once again combined timely hits with strong defense and solid pitching.
Ace Anne Dolan (2-0) went the distance, scattering nine hits while striking out two and walking none against a solid hitting Wilton squad. The Warriors were coming off a disappointing 9-8 loss to former CIAC state champion St Joseph on Friday.
