Beatrix Potter: Her Life in the Lake District

On Thursday September 28th from 2 - 3pm join Meredith McClung as she shares fresh insight into the fascinating world of Beatrix Potter and the ways in which the landscape of England’s Lake District influenced her life.

Beatrix Potter was more than an author and illustrator of children’s books. Her love of nature grew into an interest in conservation; her combined talents led to one of the National Trust’s most significant
legacies.

Tea and scones will be served at the conclusion of the program.
