Body Found Along Shore Of Saugatuck Reservoir: Weston Police

WESTON, CT — Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found along the shore of the Saugatuck Reservoir Tuesday.

Police officers responded to the report called into the Weston Emergency Communication center, and were met at the reservoir by a member of Aquarion Water Company security, according to a statement released Thursday by the Weston Police Department.

"The officers were able to confirm that a person was face down in the water and not presenting signs of life," police said.

The woman, in her 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Weston Police Department is currently working with the Connecticut Medical Examiner's Office to determine the cause of death.

No foul play is suspected, according to police.
