A Budding Business: Medical Marijuana Dispensaries Popping Up Across the State
Currently, the nearest medical marijuana dispensary to Redding is in Bethel, but there may be one opening soon in Greenwich and Monroe.

Currently there are six medical marijuana dispensaries in Connecticut, including one in Bethel, and there is a proposal to increase that number to nine, the Hartford Courant reports.
D&B Wellness , LLC opened their Compassionate Care Center last year in Bethel at 4 Garella Road, which is zoned for retail use. Owners Angela D’Amico and Karen Barski said on their website, “We are long time practitioners with decades of combined experience operating, managing, and administering care and non-care based businesses, all of whom are personally invested in the betterment of their peers and the belief in cannabis as an effective medication.”
