The Allen & Helen Hermes Arts Series presents: A Summer Cabaret Theater

The Allen and Helen Hermes Arts Series is pleased to present a Summer Musical Cabaret featuring The Naugatuck Valley Cabaret Singers with a special show to honor the nation’s 250th anniversary!

Under the direction of Dr. Gil Harel, a frequent MTL presenter on musical history, the singers will perform iconic songs and scenes from musicals that delve into American history and our national identity.

With choral and a cappella repertoire running the gamut from classical to contemporary, the NV Cabaret Singers specialize in preparing original arrangements, where Broadway classics (e.g., The Impossible Dream, For Good, The Wheels of a Dream) are transformed into nuanced choral fantasies!

A reception will be held after the performance.
