Celebrate Weston Founder's Day

Weston, CT, Oct 8 - Join Weston Arts on Monday, October 11 at the Weston Town Green for a day of celebration to shine a bright light on the future. There will be food trucks, activities for children
and adults and an opportunity to give back to those who have so generously given to our community during this health crisis.

In celebration of our long heritage of cultivating fine artists, Weston will be celebrating its 234th Anniversary of the founding of Weston, CT, on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 2:00-6:00 pm on the town green.

Attendees will have the opportunity to paint a Star for Hope with an inspirational message that can be placed on a Tree of Hope on the Town Green or can be used as gifts or ornaments for the holidays.

For a $10.00 donation, you can paint your own star of hope, or 3 people can paint stars for $25.00. WestonArts has partnered with Weston EMS to embrace the power of healing and the hope for a
brighter future. Proceeds will benefit Weston EMS and WestonArts whose 100% volunteer non-profit organizations continue to serve our community.

WestonArts hosts workshops and exhibitions, provides grants and scholarships, and sponsors awards to enrich the Weston community. WestonArts mission is to support, connect and
celebrate the arts.

Weston EMS provides emergency care services free of charge, 24/7, 365 days a year.

The Stars of Hope activity has been made possible by the generous sponsorship of Debbie Rehr of Compass Real Estate.

Come enjoy a day of notable speakers, delicious food, and entertainment by local musicians and Weston students.

There will be a chance to win a gift basket from our new Weston Pharmacy and a gift card form the Angel Cooperative in Ridgefield among other gifts.
