Collisions & Fender Benders Top Redding Police Blotter March 25-31

REDDING, CT — The parking lot of Joel Barlow The Redding Police Department was the site of two fender benders with unoccupied school buses this past week.

Police report that a motorist lost control while rounding a sharp curve on Black Rock Turnpike on Thursday and struck a tree off into the shoulder of the roadway. No injuries were reported.

Minor injuries were reported following a two-vehicle accident on Black Rock Turnpike the next day. No more information has been made available by police.

No injuries were reported after a vehicle backed into an unoccupied school bus in the front parking lot of Joel Barlow High School at 100 Black Rock Turnpike on Wednesday. Two days later, another vehicle backed into an unoccupied school bus at JBHS, and again, no injuries reported.

Another parking fender bender occurred Tuesday in the Mark Twain Library parking lot on Redding Road. No injuries were reported.
