On this Labor Day, the Bradley Road neighborhood kids came together to raise money for those impacted by Hurricane Harvey.
From 12Noon to 1:30PM, the girls -- all local Weston School students -- set up their stand giving away homemade cookies and ice cold water to hikers and passers-by at the Trout Brook trail. Donations were gladly accepted, with funds -- matched dollar-for-dollar by one of the parents -- going to The American Red Cross.
One generous hiker's vehicle had Texas plates which made this effort all the more meaningful.
