Coronavirus CT: Positivity Rate, Town-By-Town Cases

The daily coronavirus positivity rate remains just under 3 percent.

CONNECTICUT — The daily coronavirus positivity rate remains just under 3 percent, according to the latest data from the Connecticut Department of Public Health.

DPH is reporting that the daily positivity rate is up to 2.83 percent, from Monday's 2.14 percent. That's on the basis of 394 confirmed new cases of COVID-19 after 13,932 tests.

Hospitalizations fell overnight, by 15 beds. There are now 294 residents having their COVID-19 treated within health care facilities in Connecticut. Of those, 32.5 percent are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.

As of Thursday, the coronavirus death toll in Connecticut is 8,447.
