Driver Extricated After Vehicle Rolls Over In Weston Crash: Fire Officials
Fire crews stabilized the overturned vehicle and freed the trapped driver before the person was taken to the hospital.
WESTON, CT — A driver was extricated from a vehicle after it rolled onto its side in a crash in Weston Wednesday afternoon, fire officials said.
Weston police, fire and EMS crews responded around 2:58 p.m. to the Godfrey Road East and Buck Hill Road intersection for a motor vehicle crash, according to the Weston Volunteer Fire Department.
When firefighters arrived, they found a single vehicle overturned on its side with one person trapped inside, officials said.

Crews stabilized the vehicle and extricated the driver. The driver was transported by Weston EMS to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Godfrey Road East was closed for about 90 minutes while emergency crews worked at the scene.
