Easton Mom Gathers People to Paint to Help Cancer Patients

Ovarian Cancer Survivor Noreen Forde Draws Almost 100 Painters to Raise Funds for Cancer Programs at Clearity

Nearly 100 aspiring artists came out to paint a holiday sled and raise funds for ovarian cancer patients, survivors and caregivers. Two time ovarian cancer survivor Noreen Forde of Easton organized the event for Clearity Foundation. She enlisted Jenny Kenny Art of Yonkers to come to Fairfield to teach participants how to paint holiday decor.

The event was held on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at the Gaelic American Club in Fairfield. The fundraiser raised over $5,000. Since she began volunteering for Clearity, Noreen Forde has raised over $30,000 for Clearity to help other patients like herself.

For more information about Clearity, visit www.clearity.org or call John Brannelly at 619-405-3523. All programs and services to ovarian cancer patients, survivors and caregivers are provided free of charge.
