Easton Mom Organizes Premium Poinsettia Plant Sale
Noreen Forde Hosts A Charity Benefit for Local Nun at The Castle, Black Rock
Easton mom Noreen Forde is organizing a Holiday Poinsettias Plant Sale to raise funds to help area immigrants like herself become citizens in the USA. She wants to help other people like her have access to the same opportunities as her.
"Poinsettias are a long-time tradition so it is a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season and help others," stated Noreen Forde. "The Castle, Black Rock is owned by immigrants too so it is the perfect place to host an event for Sr. Mary Ellen Burns of Apostle Immigrant Services," Noreen added.
Patrick Clyne and Paula O’Rourke, owners of The Castle, Black Rock Restaurant & Pub, are sponsoring the charity event at the new location of their restaurant and pub to allow for the easy pick-up of plants. Noreen teamed up with Vaiuso Farms of Branford to get the best plants possible.
