Easton Mom Raises Funds to Help Other Women
Easton Resident Hosts Charity Benefit to Help Ovarian Cancer Patients at Clearity
Easton Resident and Ovarian Cancer Survivor Noreen Forde is organizing a Holiday Poinsettias Plant Sale as a way of giving back to "Poinsettias have been a holiday tradition so it is a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season and help others," stated Noreen Forde. "While I am still in treatment for recurrent ovarian cancer, I want to raise funds to help other women who are diagnosed with this terrible disease," Noreen added.
Advance orders can be placed online at www.clearity.org/holidayplants Plant pick up will be on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 10 AM to 12 PM at The Castle on Post, 222 Post Road, Fairfield, CT. Masks and proper social distancing protocols will be observed by all volunteers.
Patrick Clyne, owner of The Castle on Post Restaurant & Pub in Fairfield, is allowing his tent adjacent to his restaurant and pub to be used for the pick-up of flowers. Noreen teamed up with Vaiuso Farms of Branford to get the best plants possible.

Premium Poinsettias with two branches will be in foiled 7.5" pots and sold featuring red, white, pink and marble. They are $30 Each or two for $50. Proceeds from the sale benefit Clearity. Clearity helps families facing ovarian cancer with with scientific information, molecular profiling and counseling through its Steps Through OC, that Forde participated in.
