Easton Police to Participate in National Drug Take Back Day

Officers will be in front of Samuel Staples Elementary School on Saturday

EASTON, CT — The Easton PD will be participating in National Drug Take Back Day, this Saturday April 27.

Officers will be in front of Samuel Staples Elementary School, 515 Morehouse Road, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There they will be accepting unused prescriptions and leftover or expired over-the-counter medication to be destroyed by the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Residents will not even have to get out of their cars to drop off the old meds, but should be aware that the cops' Drug Take Back Day event is part of a larger recycling event that is occurring at the school and so make sure they go to the correct area.
