Easton Volunteer Fire Company Begins Expansion
The Easton Volunteer Fire Company has begun work to expand its facilities.

EASTON, CT — The Easton Volunteer Fire Company has begun work to expand its facilities.
The first phase, already underway, involves the clearing and leveling of the two acre field adjacent to the fire house.
The move will significantly expand EVFC's training area and allow the company to add additional rides to their annual Fireman Carnival, according to a post on Facebook. The additional available rides should shorten wait times for ride admissions, officials said.

The second phase of the project is the construction of a pole barn, which enable the company to remove the equipment that was historically stored at the back of the field.
The fire company is touting that 100 percent of the project will be paid for with funds raised by volunteers during their annual carnival fundraiser, as well as via direct donations from the members of our community.
