JamFest Returns to Joel Barlow High School May 12

By Terri Jennings

After its great success last November, the freshman and junior classes will revive JamFest on Saturday, May 12, from 11:00am to 4:00pm. JamFest is a gathering of local bands showcasing their talents for an outdoor spring music festival and fundraiser for the freshman and junior classes.

The line-up on May 12 will include the JBHS Jazz Band, the JBHS X-minute Break, the JBHS Faculty-Student Band, HELIUM, and Pampalibros, among others.

The JamFest Committee is focused on planning a community-building event with a cause. JamFest chairmen, Jack Pantalena and Maurizio Viselli, say that its goal is “to provide a place for kids to hang and bands to bang on a beautiful spring day, as well as raise funds for the Classes of 2013 and 2015!”
