The winning tradition of the Joel Barlow Boys Soccer program is fostered by our annual alumni game where successful players from Barlow Soccer past compete against this year’s candidates in a regulation fun-filled game. The alumni game has been “kicking off” the new season since 1980! In 37 years of competition, we have had just two varsity coaches, 7 State Championships, 16 League Championships, and an amazing 520-125-62 career record! Over 300 boys have worn the Barlow Soccer jersey, many going on to compete at the college level. The alumni game provides the opportunity for today’s players to compete with the men that built this wonderful program and gives the alumni an opportunity to re-connect with their former teammates and coaches. As for myself, it doesn’t get any better than this! Good luck to Coach Paul Winstanley, his staff, and the 2012 squad, and thank you for supporting Barlow Soccer.
