Piano virtuoso and Van Cliburn Finalist Di Wu and cellist Yves Dharamraj headline the 10th Anniversary Benefit for Music for Youth on November 5th at Southport's Pequot Library beginning at 5 p.m. The Benefit helps fund the monthly Free Young Person's Concerts, master classes, public school artist residencies, and scholarship programs of Music for Youth. Local prodigies pianist Alex Beyer, 17, and violinist Chloe Lonsinger, 6, will also make cameo appearances. Tickets include the post-concert "Meet the Artists" champagne reception also held in the Library.
