Fallen Tree Leads To Power Outages In Redding

Power Outages: Overnight rain and strong winds caused just over 60 power outages in Redding, with the largest single outage due to a tree down up Rt. 53 past Limekiln Road. Small outages from downed trees & branches are scattered across town. If your power is out reporting to Eversource CT at 800-286-2000. Please do not drive over downed wires or under trees leaning on wires. Eversource will begin evaluation and restoration efforts once winds have subsided to allow crews to operate safely.
