Fiery Redding Crash Details Surface as First Responders Honored: Report
Six teenagers were seriously injured in a crash on Rte. 107 in April.

REDDING, CT — New details in a fiery crash that injured six local teenagers in Redding on April 14 emerged at Wednesday night's ceremony to honor those who responded to the crash, reports the News Times. According to the report, several passersby on Rte 107 saw the jeep driven by the teens crash into a tree and pulled the teens out of the flaming car.
The report further indicates that two men, Chris Consiglio, 31, of Yonkers, NY, and Richard Nichio began to pull the teens out of the car as Ann Brown and Kim Plourde spoke to the teens who were conscious and making sure they did not move.
According to Plourde's comments to the paper, the car went up in flames after the last teen was pulled out. All six survived the crash.
