Firefighters Rescue Injured Hiker In Redding
Emergency crews from three local companies rescued an injured hiker near Sagatuck Falls in Redding on Sunday.
REDDING, CT — Firefighters rescued an injured hiker near Sagatuck Falls on Sunday.
Emergency crews from the West Redding Volunteer Fire Department were assisted by Redding Fire & EMS Company #1 and Bethel Fire & EMS. The firefighters "set up a technical rescue system to retrieve the patient from the other side of the river," according to the report.
"All parties were safely removed from the woods to a safe location," fire officials posted on social media.
