Firefighters tracked down the source of the gas odor that wafted through several neighborhoods Wednesday night.
WESTON, CT — Firefighters tracked down the source of the gas odor that wafted through several neighborhoods Wednesday night.
The Weston Volunteer Fire Department responded to over 20 reports of gas odor throughout the Weston Road, Kettle Creek, Old Hyde, and Norfield Road area.
Fire officials posted on social media that the odor was caused by work being done on the Tennessee Gas Pipeline on Weston Road in Westport.

"The odor is not gas but rather the odorant placed in the gas," according to a WVFD spokesperson. "The odor will likely linger in town for the night however there is no danger."
