The Historical Society of Easton’s Board of Directors is hosting a very special celebration and social gathering on Saturday July 18 from 6 - 8 p.m. to pay tribute to volunteers, retiring Board members, and the many people who have shared their skills benefiting the Society and its properties – the Adams School House and the Bradley-Hubbell Homestead.
The Historical Society’s Board of Directors will host a reception for all Historical Society members, community members, and friends. The Historical Society of Easton will celebrate the contributions of our retiring board members, the numerous volunteers and Boy Scouts who have devoted their time, knowledge and skills enhancing our properties (Bradley-Hubbell Homestead and the Adams Schoolhouse) and supporting the Society. A new exhibit showcasing an in-depth history of Easton with artifacts from the Society’s collection and archives will be unveiled. It will highlight the various industries which flourished such as basket weaving and shoe making.
