Hurlbutt Elementary School Hosts 'Bookaneer Book Fair'

From Hurlbutt Elementary School:

The Hurlbutt Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization launches its annual Book Fair October 17-21 at the school’s North House Gymnasium.

For every dollar raised by the event, Scholastic will donate a book to Kids in Distressed Situations, a national organization that provide reading materials to children with literacy needs in urban and rural areas and to communities impacted by natural disasters.

The fair is open to the public. Hurlbutt students will visit the book fair with their classes. The fair also offers special mornings for Moms and Dads, who are welcome to stop by and chat with fellow Hurlbutt parents.

This is a great opportunity for families, relatives and community members to purchase books and other items in preparation for the holiday season, or to stock up for the whole year.

Book Fair Schedule:

Monday, October 17th: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

*Morning with Mom (Tuesday, October 18th): 7:30 – 10 a.m.

Tuesday, October 18th: 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Wednesday, October 19th: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

*Date with Dad (Thursday, October 20th): 7:30 am – 10 a.m.

Thursday, October 20th: 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Friday, October 21st: 8:00 – 11:00 a.m.
