Jeep Winds Up in Easton Reservoir After Joyride Goes South: Police
A jeep wrangler made its way into the Easton Reservoir Monday afternoon.

EASTON, CT — Easton police are investigating after a jeep made its way into the Easton Reservoir Monday afternoon.
Police told Patch that the incident occurred at around 12 p.m. Monday. The driver was in the vehicle at the time of the incident, but was not injured.
The incident is believed to be the result of a "joyride gone bad," police told Patch.

No fluids had leaked into the reservoir, and the vehicle has been pulled out of the reservoir.
