Noreen Forde Organizes Event to Help Ovarian Cancer Patients and Survivors at Clearity

Easton resident Noreen Forde is organizing a Mother's Day Plant Sale in Black Rock on Saturday, May 7, 2022 to help cancer patients like herself. Proceeds will help ovarian cancer patients, survivors and caregivers receive scientific information, molecular profile review, clinical trials matching and counseling from Clearity. Premium Hanging Plants will be sold featuring Ivy Geranium or Petunia Trailing. They are $30 each or two for $50. Plant orders can be placed at www.clearity.org/plantsct
Patrick Clyne, owner of The Castle on Post Restaurant & Pub, is hosting the event at his new facility The Castle, Black Rock at 3171 Fairfield Avenue, Black Rock, Bridgeport, CT 06605 from 10 AM to 1 PM. While the pub won't be open yet, Clyne is giving visitors an a sneak peak of his new location. The site features a large parking lot and outdoor patio for easy pick up of plants.
"Spring is here and flowers are a wonderful way to celebrate the season," stated Noreen Forde. "Even though I am still in treatment for ovarian cancer, I still want to help other women dealing with this disease," Noreen added.

Forde is the mother of two sons, a senior at Joel Barlow High School and a senior at Assumption University. She is married to Gerry Forde. This is the third year Forde is organizing a Mother's Day Plant Sale. The last two raised over $18,000 to help ovarian cancer patients.
