We are again looking at above average temperatures. Remember that if you are having trouble coping with the heat, please call the non-emergency number for the police department, (203) 268-4111 and they can advise you about cooling center options. Also, of course, common sense; do not over exert yourself in the heat and stay hydrated.
This week, the conservation commission approved a permit for the work being done on the EMS site at 444 and 448 Sport Hill Rd.

Tax bills were sent out Tuesday, June 25. Payment is due July 1, but bills are payable without interest up to and including August 1, 2024. Tax bills are available to view and pay online here - vendor fees apply. If you are mailing your payment, please include your payment stub with your check; if you would like to make your payment in person, please bring your entire bill(s) with you.
If you received a bill for a vehicle you no longer own, please refer to the attached pamphlet on the Assessor’s page on the Town Website Required Proofs for Motor Vehicle Tax Credit for instructions to provide required documentation to remove the vehicle from the Grand List.
How Climate Change Affects Easton Monday, July 29 @ 7pm:
Priti Kiefer, a rising junior at Joel Barlow High School and an active member of the Eco club, will present a program to spread awareness about climate change in Easton. Join us for a presentation and an interactive session about how global climate change impacts us on an individual level, and what we can do about it. Registration is recommended.
