Korean And Vietnam War Veterans Honored In Easton

Sen. Tony Hwang on July 31 joined state and local leaders at Easton Public Library for a Korean and Vietnam War Veterans Recognition Ceremony.

“This was an opportunity for the community to thank our area veterans for their commitment to duty, honor and country,” Sen. Hwang said. “It was also an opportunity to commend them on their post-war community contributions back here at home in Connecticut. We are grateful for their courage, their bravery, and their resilience!”

Sen. Hwang thanked Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz and state veterans officials for arranging the ceremony and thanked state and local elected leaders for their steadfast support of veterans.
