Larceny And Plow Truck Mishaps On Redding Police Blotter

REDDING, CT — The last week of January saw the Redding Police Department contending with some parking lot fender benders, and a touch of larceny.
On Jan. 24, two vehicles collided in the Joel Barlow High School parking lot. That same day, police investigated a report of a vehicle striking another vehicle, while backing out of a parking space in the lot at Pignone's Ridge Market. There were no injuries at either incident, police said.
The same cannot be said when, again on the 24th, a deer ran onto Route 58 and collided with a vehicle. There were no injuries for the driver, but the deer was killed.

One day later a vehicle at a residence off of Route 53 was struck by a person who was operating a plow truck, clearing the driveway. No injuries were reported.
On Jan. 25, police received a report of an employee of a restaurant on Main Street in Georgetown committing larceny. "This investigation remains open, there were no other details available," Redding Police Chief Mark O'Donnell said.
