Latest Weston Coronavirus Update: 1st Death Reported

The state now has 875 confirmed coronavirus cases, 113 hospitalizations and 19 deaths.

WESTON, CT — One Weston resident has died from the new coronavirus, the Town has reported on its website.

"We regret to inform you that one of our community members has succumbed to his illness caused by COVID-19. Our condolences and sympathies go out to his family as they mourn their incredible loss," the notice said.

In what was the worst single day of deaths attributed to the virus, Gov. Ned Lamont reported there are 875 confirmed cases, 106 hospitalized and 19 deaths. Fairfield County continues to see the majority of cases with 546 positive results; New Haven County has the second most at 127.
