Letter: Easton Town Meeting Was Smoothly Run

Many thanks to Easton Board of Finance chair Andy Kaechele, who did a superb job as moderator of our very important Easton Town Meeting on September 13.

Without imposing restrictive and over-controlling rules regarding discussion and questions which has occurred in past Town Meetings, Andy conducted a very civil, informative, productive and citizen-friendly meeting. He also did a vitally important thing that has not been done in a town meeting in recent memory: he allowed for an important amendment to be made – one that corrected a blatant legal deficiency in the Land Use Ordinance.

This Town Meeting was very constructive and smoothly run thanks to Andy Kaechele's excellent moderation. Congratulations!
