Letter: Support the Proven Bindelglass-Lessler Ticket

To The Editor:

David Bindelglass and Bob Lessler are delivering results for Easton:

• Protecting the South Park property from development forever.
• Passing a Land Use Ordinance, giving citizens significant power in land-use decisions.
• Modernizing the Ethics Ordinance, keeping town leaders accountable.
• Steadily leading the town through the pandemic while keeping the Senior Center open without interruption.
• Faithfully supporting our collaborative bipartisan school boards as they are attacked by political activists who parrot extreme far-right talking points with open hostility and threaten good educational governance in our peaceful town.

At a time when the Republican party in town is offering us a first selectman candidate who admits to using his Easton-Reading Region 9 Board of Education-assigned email address to share the private correspondence of concerned parents -- to use them as recruiting tools for his political interests, and when Republican Board of Finance members are on record voting to eliminate the entire Easton Parks & Recreation department -- we need the mature, level-headed leadership of seasoned professionals now more than ever.

Vote Nov 2nd to keep Dave and Bob working for us.
