Lisa Smith (Clement), of Weston, Passed Away on Dec. 24

Lisa Smith (Clement) of Weston, Connecticut, died at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport on December 24.

She is survived by Craig, her husband of 28 years, and by her daughter, Hannah, a 2012 graduate of Weston High School, currently a senior at Skidmore College.

She is also survived by her parents, Diane (King) and L. Harold Clement, of Elyria, Ohio, her sister, Rachael Clement, and her nephew, Devin Cutter.

Lisa was raised in Elyria, Ohio, and attended Kent State University and the University of Leeds in England. She met Craig at Leeds. They married in Bath, Ohio, on August 8, 1987.

After graduating from the University of Leeds, Lisa and Craig moved to London where she organized royal visits for HRH Prince Charles. They returned to the U.S. in 1997 settling first in St. Charles, Illinois, and then in Weston in 2007.

Lisa was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in April 2014. She handled her illness with characteristic grace and dignity.

A memorial service will be held at Harding Funeral Home 210 Post Rd E, Westport, CT on Wednesday, December 30. Visitation will begin at 1 pm, with service at 2 pm.
