Man Falls From Roof, Seriously Injured In Easton, Police Say

A 24-year-old man was transported to a trauma center after falling from a roof in Easton Wednesday afternoon, police said.

EASTON, CT — A worker was seriously injured after falling from the roof of a home in Easton on Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

The Easton Police Department received a call at 12:13 p.m. reporting that a person had fallen from the roof of a house at 270 Everett Road. Officers arrived to find a 24-year-old man lying unconscious on the back deck with agonal respirations, police said.

Easton Police, EMS and Fire Department crews responded and treated the man, along with a paramedic from Trumbull who was automatically dispatched under a mutual aid plan.

First responders had to extricate the man through deep snow before transporting him to a local trauma center with serious injuries, police said.

The incident remains under investigation by Easton Police in coordination with Connecticut OSHA.
