March Astronomy
Join a team of astronomers for fantastic views of planets and winter constellations at New Pond Farm.
On Saturday, March 4th at 7 p.m. join the team of astronomers on Astronomy Hill at New Pond Farm (101 Marchant Road Redding, CT 06896) for views of planets and winter constellations. Please bundle up, bring along binoculars if you have them, and a flashlight for the walk out to the hill.
Note: Participants are invited to a free preview in the Learning Center classroom at 6:30pm. This quick lesson of what might be seen should help our audience, especially the children, better understand what they are to look for when they are out on the hill.
This program is $4 per New Pond Farm member ($16 max. per member family) or $6 per non-member ($24 max. per non-member family).
